2023 Christmas Pageant at St. Mary's

St. Mary's Food Bank Ministry:

We had a full crew to help out at the Regional Food Bank in November 2023.

Food Bank Mission: There was no loafing around! This past Saturday, 25 volunteers from St. Mary’s once again assembled at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Our mission this time: bread! Working in partnership with two other groups, we moved quickly to pack 5,005 pounds of bread into 385 13-pound boxes - with nary a crumb remaining. Those packages will provide 4,171 meals in our state, where one in seven people regularly face hunger. Thanks to everyone who participated. It was meaningful work and also fun to work together. We’ll look to volunteer there again in the first quarter of 2024.

PET BLESSING

We hosted 23 Pets for a blessing on a beautiful October afternoon.

We had cats, dogs and a hamster. Thank you for coming out and have a blessed year!

We enjoyed visiting with everyone.

Fellowship and some delicious chicken was had in August as St. Mary's dined at The Chicken Shack in Arcadia, OK

Well Done St. Mary's Volunteers

Thanks to the 14 parishioners who represented St. Mary’s at the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank on Saturday, June 10th, 2023. We worked the frozen corn station, along with people from other churches and agencies around the area. Together, we bagged 1,344 five-pound packages, which will provide a total of 5,600 meals. It was a great day and fun to gather in service together. We plan to do another Saturday event this fall. Watch for more information to come.

Ladies Night Out

You cannot go wrong eating at The Fish City Grill in Edmond. The Ladies of St. Mary's

gathered in January 2023 for a night out. Ladies Night Out at Mio’s in August was a neat Italian Restaurant, which several ladies of the church enjoyed trying out. The food was delicious, and desserts were fantastic, too!

Please consider attending next month and enjoy getting better acquainted.
