In the past two years, HOPE Center has experienced a 50% increase in the families served. Requests for food have increased by 79%! The need for volunteers is greater than ever. As we approach the upcoming holidays, the HOPE Center will need more volunteers than ever to assist in the clothing room, food pantry, and resale shop. They are in critical need of volunteers during the hours of 12-3 p.m. Without volunteers, the clothing room is not open to serve families who need clothing, bedding, blankets, etc. Volunteers work in 2 1/2 hour shifts, once a week.
Anyone interested in volunteering may contact Cheryl Woods at the HOPE Center (348-1340).
